Fricandò 2020 Emilia Bianco IGT

Albana in these parts in the past was considered the everyday wine; a grape from the Bolognese (and Romagna) territory with a nice thick skin, with a bunch that can reach up to 40-50 cm in length, which in the area never managed to give deep wines or character.

With the use of amphorae and a long maceration on the skins, which for Fricandò always fluctuates between 45 and 90 days, it was possible to bring out the true “face” of this grape, which has characteristics of great structure and inviting aromas, always with great elegance.

The result is an amber-colored wine with hints of crisp, ripe fruit such as diospero, apricot, medlar and citrus scents. An albana of great class!
