Farneto is an ambitious agricultural project that began in the mid-1990s. The estate covers 35 hectares, 8 of which are vineyards on the Farneto plateau at 250 meters above sea level, in the hinterland of Reggio Emilia east of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The Farneto plateau represents a unicum: it is a scarcely anthropized area, an alternation of woods and gullies on silty, sandy and clay soils. An isolated and untouched land with fertile and extremely alive soils. A true oasis of biodiversity, where the principles of biodynamic agriculture can be effectively applied.
