It is the saline expression of Sangiovese, and even in this wine a small portion of white grapes serves to give a burst of energy to a wine that is very mouthwatering from the first sip.
Direct pressing of the grapes. Fermentation in steel, aging in amphora. The use of amphora declines on tasting, for the very “open” character of this wine, which has nothing cerebral about it, but is the exaltation of simplicity: good, straightforward and tasty. A wine of sure enjoyment!
