Made from 80% Gamay del Trasimeno, a little-known grape variety that has nothing to do with French Gamay and is actually a Grenache variety found only in this part of Umbria near Lake Trasimeno.
On tasting: juicy summer fruits and ripe tomatoes, but also that unmistakable herbaceous note that you find in all Tiberi wines. Exciting drinking, to die for.
