Veneto produces more wine than any other Italian region and can boast of extremely renowned wines such as Valpolicella, Amarone, Recioto, Soave and Prosecco.
In the Valpolicella area you can find fruity red wines, Amarone and Recioto. However, Veneto is not all about red wines, it also produces refreshing whites, such as Soave, and renowned sparkling ones, such as Prosecco.
Today, more than 25% of the wine produced in the region is sold as DOC or DOCG.
