Although Milan is turning his fermentations toward less and less contact with the skins, macerated wines still have great appeal for him, and creating this crisp orange was as easy as drinking a glass of water!
The leitmotif that unites Nestarec’s “liters” is always the same-they are wines to drink every day. This means no harsh tannins or long macerations, but rather a fine wine whose contact with the skins gives great energy, distinct aromas, a carefree “orange,” so to speak.
Chardonnay, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon and a little Traminer, fermented mostly with whole berries, without crushing and only with gentle punching down, 5 – 7 days depending on the variety. All this in order to achieve only a gentle extraction, to make this wine as palatable and drinkable as possible. The result is a wine that is lively, fun and talkative enough to be the best of companions.
