Casa Belfi born thanks to the collaboration between the producer Albino Armani and winemaker Maurizio Donadi that in San Polo di Piave ( Treviso ) have identified the natural backdrop for this ambitious restoration project of the historic wine-making traditions of Treviso and the ancient production methods revisiting . They do it in the name of meticulous craftsmanship , which does not require the use of systemic pesticides nor chemical nor technology. Adjuvant in both treatments in the vineyard and in winemaking are E.M. ( Effective Micro organisms ) : the bacteria that help both the plants that wine to have the right balance on a microbiological level . They are used in treatments in the vineyard in liquid form and in wine with ceramic capsules containing the active ingredient
