‘Drinking the wines of Ca Sciampagne is like stepping into an Italian countryside filled with scents and traditions. We are the guardians of Biancame, a rare and precious grape variety.’

Living nature

We established Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne in 2008 in the Monti delle Cesane Natural Park, about 3 km from Urbino.

Here, we don’t weed, apply nitrogenous fertilizers or do wine clarification. The only yeasts we use are the ones naturally present on the grapes. We add very few sulphites and the dose rarely exceeds 10 mg/lt.

The vineyard’s soil is calcareous marl. The clay gives our wines structure, the limestone, elegance and minerality.

We grows typical grape varieties such as Biancame or Bianchello del Metauro and Sangiovese dei Colli Pesaresi, as well as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Albana, Aleatico and Alicante.
