Nero d'Avola 100% grown on red sands and disintegrating limestone rocks. From a vineyard with 6500 plants per hectare. After manual harvesting in the first two weeks of October, the grapes are dried for about 15 days preserving freshness and fruit aromas.
Spontaneous fermentation with its own yeasts, with 30-day maceration on the skins and 16 months of aging in 750-liter tonneaux followed by a minimum of 6 months in the bottle. A bold wine that starts sweet with notes of chocolate and dark berries, gains volume with a tannic finish and substance. It combines ethereal traits with incredible freshness. Endlessly drinkable.
