Rosé Wine
Rosé wine can be made using three different methods. The first is the partial fermentation on the skins of the juice of dark-skinned grapes. The second method is called salasso, or saignée in French, and consists in the vinification of the part of the must extracted from another red wine-making process which is less loaded with substances and pigments. The third method involves blending red wines with white wines.
The alcohol develops during fermentation, when the yeast converts the grape sugar into ethanol and carbon dioxide.
And that is how rosé wine is made!
