Bruno Duchêne's Petite domaine was born in 2002 in Banyuls-sur-mer with 4.5 hectares of vines and the first vinifications carried out bravely in a garage in the center of the village.

Originally from the Loire, Bruno was a mushroom grower before moving to the Mediterranean. The first step was the meticulous and highly intuitive selection of the various plots that now make up the winery: vines that are all over 50 years old at a minimum altitude of 300 meters above sea level and a dry, ventilated microclimate that allows minimal use of copper and sulfur in the vineyard.

Traditional grape varieties

Among the grape varieties grown by the Domaine we find within the different plots are Grenache Noir, Blanc and Gris, Carignan, Mourvedre, Tempranillo, Fer Servadou and Syrah. The wines born from his grapes are sunny wines, in which the fruit becomes persuasive and mouthwatering but without ever losing refinement and freshness. As in the vineyard, the work in the cellar is sensitive and respectful, guaranteeing wines capable of expressing the magical terroir of Banyuls and the diversity between vintages.
