Diving deep into its history, Vittorio Bera e Figli has been around since 1758. The company is now a dynamic business rooted in the Canelli area, in the heart of Moscato wine country.
The Bera family, starting with Giovanni Battista Bera, has grown their property to its current 12 hectares. The company is known for its artisan Moscato winemaking, a tradition carried on by the family for centuries.
In 1964, Vittorio Bera started bottling and marketing the wine himself, a move that changed the company's future. The following year, the company was among the first to be added to the Asti Province Registry of Bottling Grape Growers.
A Deep Connection to the Land
Today, the winery is led by Gianluigi, Alessandra, and Vittoria, who passionately preserve the family's traditions and its strong connection to the land. Their vineyards are located high in the hills on marl and limestone soils, which provide the ideal climate for growing Moscato grapes.
The Bera family has been farming organically since 2000, following traditional practices that include manual labor and a deep respect for the surrounding environment. For nearly three hundred years, the family has poured its passion, hard work, and care into every step of the winemaking process, from the vineyard to the bottle. The result is a wine that truly tells the story of their history and their strong bond with the land.
