The name of the Champagne comes directly from the single plot where the grapes are grown: the hill of Le Mont Benoît.
It is a classic blend of the three main grape varieties of Champagne, with vines reaching up to 50–60 years of age.
It is a deep and multifaceted wine. It opens with notes of red apple, pear, and citrus, which quickly evolve into hints of dried fruit such as toasted almond, followed by white flowers, honey, and a distinct chalky, mineral sensation. It also features a subtle and charming spicy note typical of well-crafted Meunier.
On the palate, it has a tense, vibrant entry with tremendous acidic freshness, yet it is balanced by an enveloping, silky creaminess derived from well-calibrated oak and the age of the vines. The finish is incredibly long, crisp, savory, and pleasantly citrusy.

At the heart of Emmanuel Brochet's project lies a visceral and almost symbiotic bond with an extraordinary piece of land: the hill of "Le Mont Benoît," located in the village of Villers-aux-Nœuds, in the northernmost part of the Montagne de Reims. This single Premier Cru lieu-dit is not merely a vineyard, but the geographical hub and identity-defining soul of the estate's entire production.
Here, the terroir manifests itself through a complex and fascinating geological matrix, characterized by a deep chalky subsoil topped by surface layers of clay, sand, and silt. The optimal hillside exposure allows the historic Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir vines—many of which are over sixty years old—to benefit from an ideal microclimate, pushing their roots deep into the limestone rock to absorb the mineral quintessence of this specific corner of Champagne.
