Tasting Kremo 2020 offers a direct reflection of the rich limestone soil found in the estate vineyards. This translates into refreshing citrus notes, delicate acidity and light texture. Over time Jordi has gained experience both in the field and in the cellar, with wines that year after year have veered toward ever greater expressive clarity and luminosity. These are perfect wines for any occasion.

From old Macabeo and Parellada vines, a real bombshell of concentration (while maintaining lightness and drinkability) and juiciness. The maceration is subtle, but perhaps more than in the other cuvées it gives its characteristic notes. Magnificent wine!

From the producer

Jordi Llorens

The Jordi Llorens winery is a young entity inaugurated in 2008 and based in Blancafort, a small town in the province of Tarragona, southern Catalonia. Old farming family of which Jordi represents the eighth generation. The winery today has about 20 hectares of land in polyculture, where, in addition to olive and almond trees, there are about 14 hectares planted with the main local varieties: from Macabeu, to Moscatell, flanked by some plots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

His training as a geologist means that he knows his soils to perfection, allowing him to work them to the best of his ability. Most of the soils consist of limestone soils and a small percentage of clays. For Jordi, wine is born in the vineyard and from respect for the environment and the land, without the use of chemicals or other additives. The philosophy in the winery is spontaneous fermentation of two or more varieties together, seeking in balance and diversity, completeness and complexity of expression.
