Antonio Cascarano is the volcanic soul behind the Camerlengo agricultural project, and "Le Litrò de GI.GI." is his novelty wine 2024

The name is a whole program: GI.GI. refers to what Antonio is called by his fellow villagers in Rapolla, and the format is the liter size. A very appropriate bottle for an everyday wine of great taste and charm.

The grapes are Santa Sofia, also known as "Fiano del Cilento," and Cinguli, which has more than a passing resemblance to Trebbiano Toscano.

An everyday wine to drink in lightheartedness and pleasure, where the aromatic notes of Santa Sofia and the freshness of Cinguli create a perfect mix.

Camerlengo

Ci troviamo a Rapolla, un paesino nella zona nord della Basilicata, a 400 metri sul livello del mare, ai piedi del Vulture una montagna di origine vulcanica che arriva a 1300 metri di altitudine e che regola il clima dell'intera zona. Camerlengo è Antonio Cascarano un "ex" architetto che viveva e lavorava a Roma e dopo anni di lavoro ha deciso di ritirarsi nella sua campagna natale, riprendendo le terre e la cantina del nonno.
