100% Trebbiano from vines that are at least 50 years old, located on the hills of Fauglia in Pisa.

Trebbiano Toscano is the most classic and well-known of the Tuscan white grape varieties, yet we can truly say we had never tasted a Trebbiano quite like this one. Carbonic maceration helps create new sensations, but 5 days of whole-bunch fermentation can't be the only factor at play! Clearly, this unique terroir and Andrea's skilled hand create an absolutely "sui generis" sensory experience. The nose is tropical with buttery nuances. On the palate, it’s broad with fruity notes but also linear, with an interesting rocky minerality and a final, savory herbal kick.

This is a spectacular wine that tells the story of a different kind of Tuscany.

From the producer

Antigària

Antigària is a young company, born at the end of 2022 from the passion of agronomist Andrea Nonnis, who has experience in Bolgheri, Montalcino, and the Langhe, and his partner. We are located in Fauglia, on the beautiful hills of Pisa. Our project is one we love: less than an acre of land, divided into three distinct vineyards, where the Sangiovese and Trebbiano Toscano vines have an average age of 50 years.

The soils, rich in fossilized sands and sandstone, give the wines a unique and authentic character. Our vision is simple and clear: to cultivate sustainably and thoughtfully, without using synthetic products. We rely on natural methods like cover crops for fertility and macerations for protection, supplemented only with copper and sulfur, showing the utmost respect for nature and our home territory.
