Davitha Bianco 2020 Colli del Limbara IGT
Località Careddu, Tempio Pausania, Sassari
Davitha bianco 2020 is a blend of 80% Vermentino and 20% Moscato grapes, grown in the Caraddu locality in Tempio
Pausania (495 meters above sea level).
The altitude, the hand, the grapes, the terroir all combine to make this wine an enlightening drink. Very juicy, with rhythmic flavor and great energy, the varietal comes through but is in concert with other sensations related more to the territory, notes of helichrysum, bitter orange and brackish.
Elegant and ethereal, soft and structured, without imposing itself it is justly long in the mouth.
Davitha
Davitha was born in 2014 from an idea of Francesco Mariotti, 2 hectares in total of vineyards in Tempio Pausania, with the idea of enhancing local viticulture by focusing on the rediscovery of the area's indigenous grape varieties and producing innovative wines, while remaining in the groove traced by the area's winemaking tradition. “Our wines are designed to be all blends, and in parallel, a study is underway for pure vinification of the main grape varieties: Vermentino, Moscato, Caricagiola, Pascale. We produce 3 wines, proud and authentic expression, without filters, of the land that hosts us” Francesco
