Ida 2021 Vino Bianco
Castell'Arquato, Piacenza
One of the Italian areas most dedicated to the production of "orange" wines, not surprisingly the maceration of white grapes on the skins has been done here since the dawn of time. These are thick wines, played on great aromatics (thanks also to the grape varieties of these areas) and very fragrant.
Ida is certainly no exception; it is a rich wine with fruity and complex aromas including: Ripe pear, melon, quince and tropical notes of passion fruit. More white pepper, lime and mineral hints, with a tannic texture in the background that binds and gives structure to the whole.
"Dedicated to Grandma Ida, it is the result of pressing grapes from the estate vineyard facing southeast." Claudio Campaner
