Pacina Specialities: Red wine

The structure that houses Pacina is a former 10th-century convent with a long history behind it, on the ancient road that connected Arezzo to Siena, northern Italy to Rome, surrounded by woods and the famous Crete Senesi. It is located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga and is now owned by the family of Stefano and Giovanna Tiezzi, who together manage the 10 hectares of vineyards and another 12 hectares of olive groves, orchards, cereals, vegetable garden and woods.

A small place where the richness of tradition has been respected and maintained, as well as the differences in the farm ecosystem where in addition to the vineyard there is a true polyculture that ensures great biodiversity, where plant and animal ecosystems have been able to maintain their richness and interrelationships.

The vineyards are mostly Sangiovese, with small parcels of Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo and Trebbiano, half a hectare planted to Syrah and another small plot for the amazing Vin Santo.
