Chateau de Roquefort

Château de Roquefort is an enchanting place, located in the Côtes de Provence appellation area, between the Sainte Baume massif that culminates at an altitude of 1042 meters and the Calanques national park. The relief is made up of plateaus where vines are grown organically (certified in 2006) and biodynamically at an average altitude of 390 meters above sea level. Given the large amount of rock outcropping, the soils are clay and limestone.

It is in this wild environment that Cédric and Violaine chose to live by starting this crazy winemaking adventure. The vines enjoy a special terroir thanks to a microclimate created by the altitude and North/Northwest exposure of the plots that bring a lot of freshness to the wines. To date, the winery has about 30 hectares of vines and the chateau wines have become iconic around the world.
