Oppeddentro is the beautiful story of 4 friends coming from different paths and united by a deep and visceral passion for wine. Accompanied by the great knowledge and liveliness of winemaker Roberto Alfieri, they decided to start with a small-scale artisanal production. Wines made from the heart that are already distinguished by their expressive clarity and aromatic cleanliness.

The project began in 2017 in Maiolati Spontini a small village on hills that seem drawn so beautiful in the province of Ancona. The starting points were 2: a small historic winery in the walls of the Borgo and a vineyard in Cupramontana at 450 meters above sea level, an area historically devoted to the production of Verdicchio.

Small vineyards of great expressiveness

The estate consists of 5 small vineyards, each with its own peculiarities, 4 of which are in Cupramontana and 1 in Maiolati Spontini for a total of 3 hectares.

The vineyard with 40-year-old plants is located in Cupramontana Zona San Marco di sopra at 450mt/slm. According to the subdivision made by Strada del gusto it belongs to the North Slope and Monte Follonica. The coolest area of Cupramontana although with good insolation with rather loose soils marked by Pliocene sandstone. 

An area suitable for the production of single vineyard wines that maintain very intriguing characters of freshness and saltiness. Complex wines of distinct personality, capable of bringing out typicality and genuine territoriality.
