Cannavale's wines are the result of essential preservation from the vineyard to the bottle: those grapes that are cultivated with passion and dedication a full year, on a farm over 300 meters above sea level, with no driveway access, surrounded by chestnut forests and outside of population centers, offer an exuberant liquid eager to make a name for itself, keeping true to its temperament.
A deep agricultural identity
Gennaro Manna's passion for agriculture is disruptive. A farmer by vocation and not by hereditary narratives, in 2010 he began farming the family land, in Forio on the island of Ischia, with the intention of establishing as natural an approach to agriculture as possible. He believes in it so much that he goes further and dedicates himself totally to vegetable production, going so far as to uproot a small family vineyard because he was convinced that being able to treat the vineyard and produce a wine without the use of chemicals was almost impossible.
In 2015, Anna, Gennaro's sister, also chose a life in contact with nature. In 2016, both siblings acquired the IschiaBio Agricultural Society, which owns TENUTA DEL CANNAVALE located in Cannavale in the town of Barano d'Ischia.
