It is the result of natural viticulture and a long, meticulous refinement of approximately two years in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Upon tasting, this wine presents a typical, intense ruby color. The nose is complex and deep, featuring ripe fruit and fruit preserved in spirit (black cherry, plum) fused with notes of licorice, leather, and sweet tobacco. On the palate, it is enveloping, with great structure and persistence, featuring significant yet well-polished tannins. Despite its high alcohol content, it remains a very dynamic wine to drink.
The ideal pairing is with substantial red meats, game, and aged cheeses, while also guaranteeing excellent evolution over time.
