This Syrah, named Apice (meaning "peak"), comes from the very top of the "de’ Canonici" vineyard. Its sense of altitude and prestige is confirmed by the fact that it's only produced in truly exceptional vintages.

The glass speaks volumes; this 2021 is clearly destined to evolve for many more years. On the palate, it expresses itself with patience.

It boasts a full, brilliant ruby color. The aroma is clear, with red fruit, balsamic bark, and warm spice notes. The texture is dense, juicy, and agile, with refined tannins. The progression is excellent, leading to a spicy, persistent finish. A truly unique Syrah in the Italian landscape.
