Quasirosso 2025 Toscana IGT
Cinciano, Siena
Quasirosso 2025 by Agricola 45 is an authentic Tuscan wine made from Sangiovese and Merlot. It is a glass that originally explores the boundary between a structured rosé and an extremely light red, born from a natural, low-intervention philosophy.
On the eyes, it shows a pale and bright hue, while the nose reveals a fragrant bouquet of small red fruits, violet, and a characteristic bread-making note. On the palate, it proves to be a perfect "glou-glou" wine (or thirst-quenching wine) thanks to its low alcohol content (12% vol) and a taut, juicy, and snappy sip, where a savory drive and a responsive freshness continuously stimulate drinking without any tannic heaviness. Served chilled at around 12°C, it is an ideal gastronomic wildcard both for the warm months and all year round, perfect for pairing with charcuterie boards, focaccias, and even tomato-based fish dishes like caciucco.
Agricola 45
Agricola 45 is an authentic and dynamic artisanal winery with roots firmly planted in Tuscany across two distinct central territories: precisely in Cinciano, in the province of Siena, and on the Pistoia hills. Managed with passion and dedication by winemakers Alessio and Maddalena, the project was born at Podere Le Casacce with the goal of redefining the bond between humankind and nature through respectful, small-scale viticulture. Far from the logic of industrial production, the winery stands out for its strictly limited annual output of just a few thousand bottles, crafted almost entirely by hand and born from a deep desire to restore dignity and spontaneity to rural farming life.
