Cascina delle Rose's Nebbiolo comes from vines planted between 1972 and 2012 on clay-limestone soils with the presence of marl and sand. The yield is limited to 30hl/ha after careful selection.

A true "baby Barbaresco," tannin of crazy stuff and character. Pure, elegant and fine from start to finish, with a lovely core of fruit. In defiance of guides and scores, this Nebbiolo kidnapped our hearts for its taste.

Cascina delle Rose

Cascina delle Rose si trova nella Valle del Rio Sordo a Barbaresco. Questa tenuta di 5,5 ettari è gestita da Giovanna Rizzolio e Italo Sorbino e dai loro figli Riccardo e Davide. Come suggerisce il nome, le rose sono infatti onnipresenti in azienda e nei vigneti. A conduzione familiare dal 1948, ma è solo dopo che Giovanna è subentrata nel 1992 che si è cominciato ad imbottigliare e vendere con l'etichetta Cascina delle Rose.
