Brichet is a Glera, Verdiso and Riesling-based wine from a tiny 0.25 ha plot of old vines at a good altitude on steep terraces on white, stony, limestone soils.

The clusters are hand-picked and very gently pressed whole cluster. Fermentation is spontaneous and very slow, with only indigenous yeasts. Halfway through fermentation, some of the still sweet must is frozen. The wine then finishes fermentation and is left in steel with its lees for the winter. In the spring, the wine is bottled with the frozen must, thus starting a new fermentation.

The yield is extremely low in Brichet and the production therefore rather limited, a truly rare wine.

La Cantina Casa Coste Piane, si trova a Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, una delle zone storicamente più vocate del territorio. La Famiglia Follador si dedica alla viticoltura da diverse generazioni e oggi coltiva una tenuta che si estende su circa sei ettari divisi in varie parcelle sulle Rive di Valdobbiadena a un’altitudine compresa tra i 250 e i 400 metri sul livello del mare. Il lavoro in campagna è guidato dal massimo rispetto dell’ambiente con lavorazioni manuali, inerbimento naturale e totale rifiuto di diserbanti e concimi chimici.
