Stunning blend of Folle Blanche, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Jo affectionately calls this wine "the cellar fairy" because of its crystalline character, delicacy and purity it expresses on tasting.

The balance in the cuvée is found by Jo according to the vintage: the Pinot Noir gives body and mineral structure as it comes from a vineyard with poor, stony soils, the Chardonnay creates the finer and more elegant notes, and the Folle Blanche which comes from a vineyard with clay and sand gives the fruity character with pulp and juiciness.

In the mouth it is refreshing and taut, a great table companion!

From the producer

Jo Landron

Domaine Landron was founded in 1945 when Joseph Landron's father and grandfather purchased 3 hectares of vineyards in La Haie-Fouassière. Since 1990 Joseph, "Jo" to his friends, after taking the reins of the winery from his father has expanded the vineyards to today's approximately 50 hectares, planted mostly with Melon de Bourgogne and about 7 hectares with Folle Blanche, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and the unknown and indigenous Montils.

The Sevre lowland where the vineyards are scattered is a puzzle of many ancient soils also very different from each other, hence the decision on Melon de Bourgogne to vinify each parcel separately, to return to the bottle as many different expressions of Muscadet as there are different terroirs of the Domaine. This is an enormous "precision" work, made up of manual harvests with selection of the bunches in the field, separate fermentations and targeted aging.

This in-depth study of the terroir together with a very elegant hand in the cellar have created a mythical aura around Jo's wines, among the highest expressions of the entire region.
