Bela is a very interesting sparkling wine, a very personal interpretation of Vitovska and Malvasia Istriana, offered here in an elegant petillant version. Despite the elegant bubbles, the wine seems to contain a wild energy, where freshness and matter play a fundamental role.

On the nose, evident notes of apricot, orange peel and pineapple, with white flowers and a slight toasted note. In the mouth, a mix of ripe fruit, apricot and citrus notes return, all sublimated by a soft, almost silky bubble. The maceration gives a complex character to the wine, which nevertheless remains very easy to drink.

The Čotar family farm with vineyard, winery and house is located in the western part of the Karst near the village of Gorjansko, just 5 km from the sea. The plateau between the Vipava Valley and the Gulf of Trieste is a landscape filled with passions, where the natural elements seem to be untamable, hard rocks, lashing wind, rushing sun and the presence of the sea mitigating the harshness of the landscape.
