100% Pinot Noir from old vineyards in Molesme, in the extreme northern appendage of Burgundy (Chatillon Sur Seine). We are actually 3 km away from the vineyards of the Cote de Bar, and the terroir here shares many more characteristics in common with Champagne than with Burgundy as we are used to knowing it.

Chalk and limestone of marine origin are found in abundance on the hilly shores of Molesme, and the resulting wine is a vivid extension in the glass of marine sensations and distinct minerality. The fruity note of apple and citrus, blends with an elegant hint of breadmaking. But it is the savory notes and the density it expresses in the mouth, despite the creaminess of the bubble, that are the hallmarks of this wine. Of elegant simplicity!
