Vincenzo di Meo is an artisan winemaker of all respect, you can tell when tasting his wines you create "new files" inside your personal memory database, his wines very often do not find references in past tastings, you are forced (with pleasure) to always learn new things.

The "Cold Shower" is one of those wines that you do not easily forget. Lime, tropical hints, mint, sweet almond. A melting pot of sensory experiences. Definitely worth trying.

Controvento

Controvento is Vincenzo Di Meo, a great little producer from Abruzzo. The winery is just over 5 hectares in size and is located within the Fosso delle Farfalle a protected area in the municipality of Rocca San Giovanni in the province of Chieti. The vineyards range in age from 25 to 23 years, the newest part of about one hectare is 7 years old. The grape varieties used are mainly Montepulciano and Trebbiano Abruzzese but Fiano, Passerina Malvasia and Cabernet Sauvignon are also present.
