Aligoté from a 40-year-old vineyard near Morey-Saint-Denis, at the end of an alluvial conoid, the Combe Grisard, where the vines benefit from an atypical terroir with sandy, stony soils that are quite permeable to water.

Tasting shows us a rich nose of quince, bergamot, apple cider, fresh citrus accents and wild spice aromas. It all seems a bit impetuous and messy, but also very natural, stimulating and exciting. As the minutes pass, the sip settles and the drinking becomes impetuous and enjoyable. One bottle is never enough.

Domaine Henri Richard

Domaine Henri Richard is a small family winery with 4.5 hectares of vines all in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin.

Richard and Sarah Bastien represent the fourth generation of vigneròn, who, with their minimalist and careful approach as much in the field as in the cellar, produce unique wines that are a true expression of Gevrey's terroir.

Recognized for its Gevrey-Chambertin "Aux Corvées" and "Les Tuileries," as well as for its Grands Crus of Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin, the estate also offers for a very good Aligoté, a grape too often snubbed in this territory.

Pure wines, apart from a slight dose of sulfur before bottling, there is no oenological contribution in their wines.
