Champagne Extra Brut Ultradition
Chavot-Courcourt, Valle De La Marne
Champagne Ultradition from Laherte Freres, is the perfect bottle to approach the world of Recoltants Champagnes. It is dry on the palate, with bright yellow-fleshed fruit and extremely pleasant perlage. The 40 percent vin de reserve gives the right depth for a wine with a quick and elegant drinkability. Complexity and fruity pleasantness, a wine just right for all occasions.
Ultradition is an exceptionally good champagne, with an unmistakable personality given the high percentage of Meunier in this cuvèe, with a creamy texture, a nice freshness, and a mineral base that makes it crisp.
Laherte Frères
Jean-Baptiste Laherte founded the family estate in 1889, planting most of the vines in the village of Chavost (now Chavot) in the coteaux sud d'Epernay.
The estate has grown gradually over the generations and today covers more than 11 hectares divided between the south of Epernay, the Cote de Blancs and the vallèe de la Marne.
Since 2005, Aurelien Laherte, who represents the seventh generation of vignerons, has joined the winery; with him, a clean farming philosophy of observing nature and non-invasive agricultural practices without the use of chemicals in the vineyard is reinforced.
"Generation after generation, we have been guided by the search for the perfect alchemy.
This is an endless search, but it also provides a better understanding of our land, our wines, and ourselves. "Aurelièn Laherte
