An unusual grape for the area, Voltumna's Pinot Grigio comes from a vineyard located in the highest part of the estate, in a full sun vineyard.

A difficult grape to manage, it has an early ripening that is easily loaded with sugars and returns a respectable alcohol content, and just as easily tends to lose acidity. After many years of trials, the optimum has been found with a very essential concrete vinification, with a short maceration that creates a surprisingly “light” wine with a savory streak that provides the right verticality.

In the mouth it is juicy and flavorful with notes of apple and caramel, a pleasant body and the right roundness.

L’azienda si trova in Toscana, a 300 metri di altezza,; davanti a se ha la Valle del Mugello e alle spalle l’Appennino Toscano. Luoghi dove il verde dei boschi domina ancora la valle, e le significative escursioni termiche rinfrescano le viti.
