A July that in Mugello was characterized by more than 20 days of rain and well below average temperatures. Under these conditions, it was not possible to vinify the Sangiovese in the usual way and a re-fermented wine was tried, in order to take advantage of the pronounced acidity and low sugar content of that year.
Good first! After that year the "Marcello" was always remade! A new and very fresh way to enjoy Tuscan Sangiovese!

Voltumna è un progetto collettivo nato per condividere la passione per l’agricoltura, come attività che pone l’uomo in un continuo confronto/incontro con la natura.
L’azienda si trova in Toscana, a 300 metri di altezza,; davanti a se ha la Valle del Mugello e alle spalle l’Appennino Toscano. Luoghi dove il verde dei boschi domina ancora la valle, e le significative escursioni termiche rinfrescano le viti.
