100% Rossese Bianco. 'U Veciu' means 'the old man' in the local dialect. It is a tribute to the ancient tradition of producing 'white' wines with prolonged contact with the skins.

In fermentation, the grapes macerate on the skins for 80 days before aging for 8 months in larch barrels, creating a beautiful wine in which particular notes of tangerine, ginger, wild herbs and a salty touch in the finish stand out.

Azienda Agricola Possa was born in 2004 in Riomaggiore in the stupendous scenery of "Cinque Terre" by the hand of Samuele Heydi Bonanini, an authentic vine grower originally from these lands, who decided in this territory as impossible as it is shockingly beautiful, to begin his agricultural project starting from 2 fundamental assumptions: on the one hand the desire from day one not to use chemicals in the vineyard out of respect for the ecosystem and biodiversity one of the main pillars of Samuele's thinking, and on the other to recover the ancient varieties that used to inhabit on the terraces and the old abandoned vineyards through the hard and heavy task of maintaining and restoring the dry stone walls.

All this results in luminous wines with an ancient and authentic flavor, an exact picture of the winemaker who produced them.
