"Jai Guru Deva is a Beatles quote, a tribute to John Lennon. This phrase means: thank you divine master. With this name I wanted to show my thanks to my WINE masters, the ones who taught me the beauty of wine making, Fernando Garcia from Sierra de Gredos, Basilio Izquierdo from Rioja, René Barbier from Priorat (they really call him "Guru" in his area), Giulio Armani and also San Colombano, the God father of winemaking in Piacenza." The 2023 vintage features a higher percentage of Ortrugo (in the blend with Malvasia di Candia Aromatica). The wine has taken on a more mineral and structured character, with a slightly lower aromatic intensity compared to 2022, but a significant texture and length.
