Mystical vineyards on the Gambellara hillside
Rossella founded Volcanalia in 2014 in Gambellara. The values that immediately permeate the project are those of a return to nature understood as a rediscovery, a re-appropriation of spaces, of those points of contact with creation that frenetic life often tarnishes, clouds. She does this by believing in sharing, exchange and comparison, which led her for 2 years to travel around the world to wineries, to learn and understand.
Hence the 'natural' choice to rely on respectful agriculture in which man becomes a cooperating guardian.
Today Volcanalia has 4 hectares of Garganega on terraces at the top of the hill, the highest and oldest vineyards in Gambellara, a truly enviable historical and ampelographic heritage.
The matrix of the soil is black basaltic rock of volcanic origin, the wood that belts the vineyard protects it from any kind of contamination.
