100% Syrah from a small vineyard in the lieu dit “Sommet des Arlettes,” 60-year-old vines planted on very degraded granite soils.

Wine of exceptional refinement. The deep red color evokes black cherry and expresses an intense aroma of black berry fruits in the glass, along with animal and camphor notes. The sip is full with a persuasive, velvety body that diffuses intense cocoa flavors. Generous tannins lengthen the persistence and lend expressiveness. A near-perfect marriage of power and elegance.

Domaine du Coulet

Founded in 1998 by Matthieu Barret, Domaine du Coulet covers 10 hectares in the Cornas appellation, planted on ancient terraces facing east. The terroir of Cornas is very special, made up of ancient, highly degraded granite formations called "gore," Matthieu Barret maintains low yields, never exceeding 25 hl/ha, and with cultivation that respects the environment and the balance of the plants, he aims to create authentic wines with great personality.
