Pure Sangiovese Grosso with soft tannins and excellent freshness. Fermented in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels. Stored in the same wooden barrel for 18 months. Aromas of leather, almond, spices. Fresh, balanced and harmonious with tannins. Soft and persistent.

Le Verzure

Le Verzure was born in the early 2000s thanks to Luigi and Antonella Villa, restaurateurs turned winemakers. With a family background in agriculture, they decided to embark on a journey that would take them back to their roots by purchasing Le Verzure. The winery is nestled among the rolling hills of Siena, a region shaped by viticulture developed by the Etruscans since 600 BC.

After buying the land, they transformed the large fields (once planted with alfalfa) into olive groves and beautiful Sangiovese vineyards, and a few years later, a new small vineyard with the area's white grapes-Malvasia and Trebbiano.
