Pure Pinot Noir, vinified traditionally in red with a long aging in large barrels for 22 months.

Tasting reveals an energetic wine, where fruity hints of ripe black cherry and pomegranate juice blend with tertiary notes of leather and underbrush. Refined tannin of great elegance and persistence. Good freshness enhances its drinkability.

Le Due Terre

We are located in Prepotto in the province of Udine, the farm "Le Due Terre" is Founded by Flavio Basilicata and Silvana Forte in 1984. At the beginning the vineyards were rented for a total of 2 hectares, while the winery was obtained from the renovation of the old farm belonging to the Basilicata family. Today the cultivated hectares cone about 5 of which 3 are owned.

Flavio, an oenologist and winemaker, has from the beginning, together with his wife, tried to recover and maintain the knowledge of the past, the agricultural and winery techniques in fact are strongly linked to the Friulian farming tradition. In the cellar one can still find barrels dating back a hundred years, which still do their work perfectly.

In the field, only copper and sulfur are used in minimal quantities, biodynamic preparations and organic management, although no certification to that effect has ever been required. No mowing, no fertilization; the vines develop in complete balance, benefiting from an unspoiled environment, the nearby forest and a microclimate mitigated by the presence of the Judrio stream on the valley floor.
