Clos des Cessieux is Hervè's most exuberant wine, perhaps even the most "hedonistic." Everything that Syrah represents in this area: power, depth and fatness, Hervè manages to translate into a concept of crystalline finesse. The power unravels subtly, letting fruity and floral flavors and aromas punctuate the sip.

Hervé Souhaut ha creato il Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet nel 1993. La cantina si trova nell'Ardeche settentrionale nel paesino di Arlebosc. I 5 ettari di vigne vecchie, tra i 50 e i 100 anni di età, si trovano per una parte intorno alla cantina, più altri due appezzamenti nella valle del Rodano, proprio di fronte alle colline leggendarie dell'Hermitage a Saint Joseph.
