Malmostoso is a sparkling red that "winks" at Lambrusco. From Merlot and Chardonnay grapes re-fermented in the bottle with Merlot raisin must. Maceration without pumping over makes it graceful and balsamic, while bottle re-fermentation with passito must gives it complexity.

Il Pellagroso is a young and dynamic reality run by Antonio "Billy "Camazzola, who a few years ago decided to leave the activity of innkeeper to devote himself fully to the recovery of old plots of land in the Mantua area. We are in Monzambano, in the province of Mantua, in the morainic hills of Lake Garda. In 2018 the area planted with vines was increased by 5.5 hectares, and conversion work began immediately through the use of biodynamic preparations, herbal teas, propolis and effective microorganisms.
