In the local Parmesan dialect, Balòs means "rascal" or "scamp." And that is exactly the spirit Marco Rizzardi has managed to capture in this bottle: a wine that plays, that snaps, and that breaks the mold of traditional Barbera to become pure, joyful juice.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 500 meters, rooted in soils composed of calcareous marls and gypsum. This combination provides the Barbera with an electric backbone and an almost citric freshness, far from the clichés of heavy, muscular reds.

On the palate, it is an explosion of wild red berries where the acidic tension of the Barbera dances with creamy bubbles, making every sip incredibly juicy and refreshing. This is a wine that laughs!
