Fortuna 2023 Trebbiano D'Abruzzo DOC
Pietranico, Pescara
Fortuna is an atypical Trebbiano, or perhaps, more accurately, genuinely typical in its faithfulness to tradition. It's complex and structured, yet simultaneously offers great freshness and drinkability.
This wine is a strong identifier of Abruzzo's winemaking history and is highly expressive of our territory.
At the table, it pairs well with pasta dishes in white sauces, cheeses, white meats, fish, broths, and legume soups, but it's also delightful to enjoy on its own.
Caprera
Caprera was founded in 2012 in Pietranico, in the Pescara hinterland, halfway between the Maiella and Gran Sasso mountains. Today, it's a 22-hectare organic farm spread across two distinct plots, close to each other but profoundly different in nature. Only a small portion of this land is dedicated to vineyards. There's also extensive woodland, about 500 olive trees, and arable fields where local wheat varieties are cultivated, in addition to an apiary and a pond that hosts diverse wildlife.
"For us, diversity is wealth. The farm is an agricultural organism whose parts coexist in harmony, each serving the other. Only in complexity can equilibrium be found. Only in equilibrium can a healthy environment for the well-being of plants, animals, and humans be achieved."
