Poema represents the jewel among Francuska Vinarija's whites, and is the wine that best embodies Estelle and Cyrille Bongiraud's ambition in Serbia: to create a white of structure and grace in an unexplored terroir. Riesling has proven perfect for the Serbian clay-limestone soils. The vines benefit from a continental climate which, thanks to strong diurnal temperature shifts, guarantees ripe grapes but with an exceptional level of acidity and freshness, the secret behind its harmony.
On the palate, it is dense and enveloping, yet never heavy. The sharp freshness imparted by the territory cuts through the opulence of the fruit, lending the sip a vibrant tension and a very persistent savory finish. It is a white of character, designed for the table and possessing great aging potential.

Estelle & Cyril Bongiraud
In the village of Rogljevo, in Serbia, within unspoiled nature, Estelle and Cyril Bongiraud produce wines with a deep breath on one of the greatest terroirs of the Balkans. Originally from Burgundy, they settled in this wine village in 2008, a place that boasts a thousand-year-old history and is composed of 300 limestone cellars with characteristic arched doors. Very old grape varieties in semi-abandoned vineyards.
Like two gold prospectors, they spent a long time searching for these old vines, which were often reclaimed by the woods on these hills bordering Bulgaria. They define it as a project of rebirth, born from deep passion and knowledge.
Cyril has worked and produced wines for some of the world's largest wineries, such as Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, just to name one. Experience is certainly not lacking!
