Monemvasìa is a historic wine made from only Malvasia grapes. The name comes from the Greek port through which the Venetians imported the grapes as early as the 15th century. In time these varieties found space in the upper Adriatic up to the Padua hills area, which are particularly suitable for growing these grapes.

Today, as then, the wine is fermented with maceration on the skins (of only 5 days) and a long aging. On tasting the wine leaves its mark: spicy fruit, good minerality, very long in the mouth and perfect in its aromatic development. Spectacular when paired with a generous plate of boiled meats and soft cheeses.
