Producer: Un'Orsa Minore
Via Sonora 2023 Vino Bianco
San Gregorio nelle Alpi, Belluno
Via Sonora is 100% Solaris vinified for 30% with 10 days of whole cluster maceration in steel. Vineyard at 750 mt/slm, the first one Filippo planted.
Really good wine, the light green that the stalk leaves helps a lot to take away aromaticityand give freshness and backbone, but not only that: the stalk also gives more longevity to the bottle.
Un'Orsa Minore
Un'Orsa Minore is Filippo de Martin. The company is located in San Gregorio nelle Alpi in Roncoi, a small hamlet at the foot of Mount Pizzocco within the Belluno Dolomites Park. All around are the Pale Mountains, a magical place of stones, sunsets, steep meadows and high pinnacles, where a handful of winemakers carry on an ancient winemaking tradition.
The project began in 2011 with the creation of the first vineyard (by Solaris) on the Col de Doro to which, over the years, new plantings were added together with the recovery of old vines cultivated with historical Valbelluna varieties.
Then in 2014 it was the turn of Bronner, to certify Filippo's interest and commitment with resistant vines.
