Producer: Un'Orsa Minore
Bolla Ballerina 2022 Vino Rosato Frizzante
San Gregorio nelle Alpi, Belluno
Grapes from many small plots of red grapes typical of the Valbelluna: Paialonga, Pavana, Barbera, Schiava Grigia, Ciliegiolo, Uva turca and Solaris. Each plot is a delightful little organized chaos with plants coplanted together with no apparent design.
The use of Solaris lends a certain elegance and fragrance but is also used to meet a winery need: it is used to fill the fermentation tanks. The grapes macerate for 7 days on the skins. Playful wine produced in only 1,400 bottles.
Un'Orsa Minore
Un'Orsa Minore is Filippo de Martin. The company is located in San Gregorio nelle Alpi in Roncoi, a small hamlet at the foot of Mount Pizzocco within the Belluno Dolomites Park. All around are the Pale Mountains, a magical place of stones, sunsets, steep meadows and high pinnacles, where a handful of winemakers carry on an ancient winemaking tradition.
The project began in 2011 with the creation of the first vineyard (by Solaris) on the Col de Doro to which, over the years, new plantings were added together with the recovery of old vines cultivated with historical Valbelluna varieties.
Then in 2014 it was the turn of Bronner, to certify Filippo's interest and commitment with resistant vines.
