Bressan 40000 bottles in the cellar
Bressan Specialities: Red wine

The Bressan winery was founded in 1726 in Farra D'Isonzo and is now run by Fulvio, who represents the ninth generation of winemakers, proud defenders of the local winemaking tradition.

There are 24 hectares under cultivation, spread between DOC Isonzo and DOC Collio, and in the most generous vintages the number of bottles produced reaches 40,000, for a production per hectare that almost never exceeds 25 quintals/ha.

The soils are mixed, although they have one characteristic in common: the presence of ponca in each vineyard, a stratification of calcareous marl and arenaree typical of these areas. Another important characteristic is the presence of iron in some of the vineyards, a peculiarity that makes the soils particularly suitable for growing red grapes.
